Job Position: General IT Technician



Primary Purpose of Job:

  • Assist the Technical Projects Officer in technical evaluation of security systems requirements related to access control, screening, intruder detection, CCTV and vehicle tracking.
  • Assist the Technical Projects Officer in evaluating and planning the IT needs of the region (hardware, software and consumables).
  • Assists in development and implementation of new systems, which includes: system analysis, design, modification and recommend improvements.
  • Assist the Technical Projects Officer in the allocation of computers, and coordinates with the IT department in the installation of computers.
  • Resolve all day-to-day computer problems of the Region. Provide user support and install and maintain existing hardware, back-ups, software and systems; - investigate problems and errors and undertake program modifications.
  • Update and maintain the access control system’s database, for access privileges etc.
  • Supports the Technical Projects Officer in providing minor maintenance or support to repair unserviceable equipment or systems.
  • Design and produce badges/cards for special events and as directed by the Technical Projects Officer.
  • Guide and assist access control room operators and other security personnel on use and operation of various security systems and devices. Assist in preparation of guides and training manuals and give user training.
  • Utilize system data to generate documents’ in the form of reports, tabulations, graphs etc.

Education:

  • An accredited Diploma with an IT focus

Experience & Skills:

  • At least 8 Years experience with access control systems.
  • Good background in computer programs, especially security focused

Job Description& Duties

Your duties as the sole commercial member of staff on site & head office will be to manage the commercial and contractual matters of the project. You will be expected to work under Cost Control Department and will work closely with the Cost Control Engineers, Estimation Engineers, Planning Engineers & Project Managers, advising them on relevant commercial and contractual matters as they arise with a view to protecting the company’s interest.

Your duties as a Quantity Surveyor will vary according to specific project requirements, but are likely to include a combination of:

  • Study engineering drawings and specifications
  • Prepare a 'Bill of Quantities', which lists the individual components required to construct the project
  • Material take-off as per available drawings
  • Check on changes of design to assess the effects on cost
  • Measuring budgeted quantity & assess actual quantity done at project site
  • Prepare planned & actual productivity report
  • Review progress report & advise for invoicing to client
  • Tender evaluation & assessment
  • Interpreting and offering advice on contracts
  • Valuing variation orders
  • Ensuring contractual notices and client entitlements are properly administered
  • Preparation of subcontractor's payment recommendations
  • Undertake feasibility studies to assist in decisions about the worth of a project proceeding

Qualification & Experience Required

  • Formal qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar equivalent is desired; however any technical background with substantial relevant experience would make this less important.
  • A firm understanding of his discipline specialties
  • Extensive experience of taking the same role for reputable EPC or construction contractor for oil & gas projects
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of contractual matters in order to protect the companies position regarding profit margins, risk etc at all times
  • Previous experience of working in middle-east would be an advantage but not a must
  • The successful candidate must be able to work independently with the minimum amount of supervision
  • Having a good attitude & team player to work as a team to achieve project & company’s goals
  • Strong personality & good leadership skills

1. Field Administrator (1 position)

  4. Assists HR Jakarta In preparing monthly timesheet, leave requests & records socialization of HR policies and procedures, and dealing with the local Manpower Office.
  5. Prepares and monitors work requests for maintenance and repair of offices, company s guesthouses, office equipments and reports any maintenance problems.
  6. Supervises the filing management and the utilization of office equipment.
  7. Coordinates the usage of company cars is ensure availability of transportation to support operational needs Including administration and record fuel usage and other related cost
  8. Coordinates the travel arrangements as requested by the group.
  9. Coordinates the arrangements of company’s guests, visitors and events in P. Berandan and P. Susu.

2. HSE Officer (1 position)

  1. Prepares safety-related SOP for all operation activities.
  2. Conducts socialization of government and company safety-related policies & procedures, and provides safety refresher training to Operations staff.
  3. Inspects Implementation of safety regulations and SOP in all aspects of operations
  4. Assists other sections in conducting job safety analysis & risk assessment before carrying out the work
  5. Conducts safety Induction sessions for new employees & visitors to P. Berandan / P. Susu
  6. Conducts emergency response drills regularly
  7. Conducts Investigations when an Incident/accident occurs
  8. Record said reports near-misses, incident, accident and fatalities
  9. Liaise with local authority, fire station and hospitals
  10. Keeps abreast of laws and regulations that apply to the function to maintain up-to-date compliance.

3. Operation Supervisor (1 position)

  1. Sets goals for the assigned area/s of responsibility, monitors progress1 and ensures that objectives are being met on time, within the approved budget and in compliance with the pertinent policy and procedures.
  2. Plans and proposes the Work Program & Budget for the assigned are/s and ensures that costs and expenditures are within the approved budget.
  3. Plans all activities related to field productions and directs & supervises operators in carrying out their duties.
  4. Coordinates with the Maintenance Section to ensure that day-to-day operations go smoothly
  5. Proposes material/services requisition for operational needs.
  6. Prepares job safety analysis and risk assessment for any work to be done
  7. Supervises the implementation of safety regulations in the area of authority
  8. Provides timely and accurate regular and specialized reports for various purposes as required.
  9. Builds and maintains good relationships with departments internally as wet as externally with Consultants, Vendors, and related government bodies.
  10. Conducts annual performance management discussions, i.e.: setting goals, on-going coaching, performance reviews with direct report/s.

4. Process/Tank Operator (3 positions)

  1. Maintains accurate logs of operating condition and all other paper work on a rotating shift basis including process area and tank gauging.
  2. Requires basin or far operating, isolating purging and servicing of all equipment, located at ORF and P. Susu Tank farm.
  3. Requires good two-way communication with P. Susu operation and/or P. Berandan CCL
  4. Encourages safe work practices and good house keeping, ensuring that these are enforced in all areas under his responsibility.
  5. Complete the OJT program in a timely manner as set out by the Area Operations Supervisor Expecting to be fully versed in the operations of the Permit to work system and the Salamander HSE Management System.
  6. The tank has a foam system that he must be familiar with and be competent to operate this facility.
  7. Assist the Senior Operator at P. Susu or P. Brandan CCR operators to resolve day to-day operation problems.

The candidate should fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Job 1: Female, maximum of 30 years old.
  2. Job 2, 3, 4: Male, maximum of 35 Years old.
  3. Job 1: Having a Diploma 3 or Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in Administration or Economy. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
  4. Job 2: Having a Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in Safety or Environment Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
  5. Job 3: Having a Bachelor Degree preferably majoring in the chemical Engineering. Equivalent experience may substitute for education.
  6. Job 4: Having a Diploma 3, Technical Trade Certificate or equivalent experience and a 12th grade Diploma is also required.
  7. Job2, 3: A minimum of 5 years of experience in related field and/or industry is required.
