Trans-Pacific Petrochemical Indotama (TPPI)

We are one of the biggest petrochemical companies in Indonesia, currently seeking professional candidates for immediate employment in the following positions:



1. MECHANICAL ENGINEER (E-mail Subject Code: MEN/09)

Basic Function and Scope:
Mechanical Engineer shall provide technical support to TPPI refinery facility. Primarily responsible for providing mechanical expertise including static and rotating equipment, performing reliability analysis, fault finding and mentoring TPPI mechanical maintenance team.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 year experience as Mechanical Engineer or in Mechanical Maintenance (preferably applicants with working experience in Petrochemical, Oil and Gas or other related heavy industries).
  • A working knowledge of Gas Turbines (GE Frame 5) centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, HE and other static equipment would be an advantage.
  • Analytical capabilities including problem solving, trouble shooting capability and knowledge of QA/QC procedures.
  • Good knowledge of Reliability Integrity processes and tools i.e. RCM, Defect Elimination, RCFA, and Pareto.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Condition Monitoring Techniques.


2. MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN (E-mail Subject Code: MTE/09)

Basic Function and Scope:
Mechanical Technician will follow directions from the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure that all work order is created by CMMS and or breakdown for mechanical equipment is executed under TPPI standard.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma (D3) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 year experience in Petroleum other relevant experience.
  • Good experience in a variety of mechanical equipments both static and rotating equipment including Gas Turbine, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, HE and other static equipment.
  • Familiar with risk assessment and Hazardous Areas Classifications and its installations also permit to work system.
  • Analytical capabilities including problem solving, trouble shooting capability.


3. RELIABILITY ENGINEER (E-mail Subject Code: RENG/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 year experience in reliability engineering or rotating equipment design, condition monitoring, repair, or maintenance.
  • Good knowledge in machinery operation, repair, and maintenance (gas turbine, steam turbine, multistage centrifugal compressor and reciprocating).
  • Familiar with technical reporting and documentation.
  • Practical experience in Root Cause Failure Analysis.
  • Good experience defining & implementing preventative and predictive maintenance program.
  • Good experience implementing, tracking, and analyzing Key Performance Indicators for equipment reliability performance.
  • Good experience in mechanical seals and seal system.
  • Good experience in vibration and oil analysis.
  • Applicant with good knowledge and experience in RCM is preferred.


4. SAFETY HEALTH ENVIRONTMENT SUPERVISOR (E-mail Subject Code: SHE/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) or Diploma (D3) in Engineering; or Health & Safety–K 3 program of study.
  • Max age: 35 yrs old.
  • A minimum of 5 year experience as FIRE-SAFETY Supervisor.
  • Specific skill/experience in handling emergency response.
  • MUST be familiar with FIRE TRUCK Operation, Fire Ground and Rescue Training.


5. BUSINESS TEAM PLANNER (E-mail Subject Code: PLS/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering.
  • Max age: 40 yrs old.
  • A minimum of 3 year experience as MAINTENANCE PLANNER Supervisor OR 5 year experience as PLANNER.
  • Familiar with Project Planning and Scheduling Software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.
  • Good knowledge of basic equipment design especially in oil and gas industry.


6. GENERAL ADMINISTRATION TRANSPORTATION OFFICER (E-mail Subject Code: GAT/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma (D3) from any discipline.
  • Max age: 30 yrs old.
  • Applicant with experience as automobile mechanic is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 year experience in managing transportation administration and scheduling.


7. Control System Engineer (E-mail Subject Code: CIS/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 year experience as Instrument or Control Engineer.
  • Able to configure and troubleshoot various DCS and PLC systems (hardware and software).
  • Knowledgeable in control philosophies practiced in the petrochemical industry.
  • Experience in GE Mark VI, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell TPS, and Emerson DeltaV is a plus.


8. Control System Technician (E-mail Subject Code: CIT/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma (D3) in Electro / Technical High School (STM)
  • A minimum of 3 year experience as Instrument or Control Technician.
  • Competent to perform maintenance on process control systems such as DCS, PLC’s, or HMI displays.
  • Knowledge and skills should include loop checking, troubleshooting, and instrument installation/applications.
  • Experience with GE Mark VI, Allen Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell TPS, and Emerson DeltaV is a plus.


9. HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR (E-mail Subject Code: HRD/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) in Psychology or Law.
  • A minimum of 3 year experience in HRD.
  • Max age: 35 yrs old.


10. PROCESS ENGINEER / SUPERVISOR (E-mail Subject Code: CHEM/09)

Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree (S1) in Chemical Engineering.
  • Ensure that the plant facilities are safely, steadily, reliably and efficiently operated.
  • For Process Engineer: Able to perform routine plant monitoring, optimization of unit performance, problem solving, plant modification and new project evaluation.
  • Familiar with process simulation software (e.g. Hysis/Chemcad) & drawing software (at least Visio) is a plus.


General Requirement

Fluent in English both written and oral. Able to operate computer application (MS. Office, etc). Highly motivated, good personality, and willing to be posted in Tuban, East Java.
